Description

The Atlas Copco G Range of rotary screw air compressors bring you benefits you would expect from the world’s leading compressed air manufacturer but in a smaller package.

High-efficient IE3 main motors coupled to the state-of-the-art Air-End design provide low energy costs and reliability even in temperatures up to 46°C.

The low-vibration belt drive and acoustic cabinet make the G2-11 air compressor extremely quiet, with noise levels down to 61dB(A).

G2 = requires either a 16Amp single phase electrical supply or a 3-Phase supply.

G5, G7, G11 require a 3-Phase electrical supply.

More Information

The Atlas Copco G2 brings the innovation and quality you expect from the world’s leading air compressor manufacturer, but in a compact and affordable package designed specifically for workshops, garages, and light industrial users.

Key Benefits at a Glance

  • Quiet Operation: At only 61 dB(A), the G2 runs as quietly as a normal conversation – perfect for point-of-use installation without disturbing the working environment.
  • High Efficiency: Built with an IE3 premium-efficiency motor and Atlas Copco’s patented screw element, it delivers more air with lower energy consumption.
  • Compact Footprint: With a receiver size of 200 litres and smart vertical design, the G2 provides ample air storage while fitting into small workshops.
  • Plug-and-Play Flexibility: Works on a 16 Amp single-phase supply, making it one of the easiest professional-grade rotary screw compressors to install – no need for a 3-phase connection like larger models.
  • Reliable in Harsh Conditions: Engineered for continuous duty, the G2 can run in ambient temperatures of up to 46°C, ensuring productivity even in challenging environments.

Designed for Professionals & Small Businesses

The G2 is part of the G2–7 range, widely recognised as the superior workshop compressor. Compared to traditional piston compressors, it offers:

  • Lower oil carry-over, protecting tools and ensuring cleaner air quality.
  • Continuous operation (100% duty cycle) without downtime.
  • Reduced energy costs and environmental footprint thanks to screw compression efficiency.

Smart Control & Connectivity (Optional Upgrades)

The G-range can be equipped with Atlas Copco’s Elektronikon® Nano controller and SMARTLINK remote monitoring system. These allow you to:

  • Monitor compressor performance on your smartphone.
  • Receive real-time alerts to avoid downtime.
  • Benefit from over-the-air software updates that improve efficiency and safety over time.

Why Choose the Atlas Copco G2?

  • Built to Last: Heavy-duty components and low-vibration design mean minimal wear and long service life.
  • Low Total Cost of Ownership: Premium motor efficiency and optional VSD (Variable Speed Drive) versions reduce running costs significantly.
  • Future-Proof Choice: Expandable with dryers, filters, and larger receiver tanks as your business grows.
  • Perfect for: Workshops, automotive garages, small manufacturing facilities, woodworking shops, and any application that needs reliable compressed air without the noise or footprint of industrial systems.
