Anglian Compressors earn Atlas Copco Distributor of the Year award
Peterborough-based Anglian Compressors has been named as Atlas Copco Compressors’ Distributor of the Year 2011. Presenting the award, Mark Keen, Southern Sales Manager for Atlas Copco Compressors commented: “The Anglian Compressors team were consistent performers throughout 2011. Their focus on energy saving and the true cost of ownership, together with emphasising the importance of equipment service programmes, has enabled them to build a strong relationship with their customers. This is reflected in significant year-on-year sales growth.”
Anglian Compressors won the award having successfully surpassed their sales targets for the year. They achieved this by fully utilising Atlas Copco’s Industrial Air compressor range and embracing new products, such as the Z-series range of small oil-free compressors, as well as the range of Compressor Technique Service products, including air auditing software. Anglian Compressors’ service operation offering has also developed into a major growth area, with the company successfully offering advanced monitoring services to customers who are looking to scale back their own on-site maintenance teams.
Anglian’s most significant regional market sector is in the food industry, where many businesses are increasingly seeking to cut running costs, especially in energy consumption. Richard Hewitt, Sales Director at Anglian Compressors commented: “This is why we adopt a consultative approach with our customers and em- ploy on-site monitoring methods that enable us to present meaningful data on air usage trends. That way we can highlight potential savings and offer a range of energy-efficient solutions.”
Established in the late 1970’s, Anglian Compressors employs a total of 14 people and has been in its current premises for the past twenty years. During this time the company has won many plaudits and accolades.
